When

From the first Sunday in February to the last Sunday in November, except where the forecast temperature on the Channel 7 news service at 6pm is 32° or over, or it is a holiday weekend.

How much does it cost

There is no joining fee and membership is paid annually at the following rates:

Single	$40 per year
Double	$50 per year
Extra family member	$15 per year
Junior	$20 per year
Aged Pensioner	$20 per year

 

Other

Beginners classes are formed every week and meet at 10:15am for a friendly introductory talk.

ALL dogs are accepted

Training can commence at 4 months of age and there is no age limit however all dogs must be fully vaccinated before joining classes - you must provide evidence of your dog's vaccination status when joining the club.

Class sizes are kept small to ensure that all dogs can receive individual attention.

Once Basic Obedience Level has been achieved you can then progress into our Trial Classes.

These classes help you to appreciate Obedience Dog Trialling and will assist in making you feel at ease in the Trial Ring.

Of course, we realise that not everyone wishes to enter into Trialling, so we also offer a Social Class in which your dog's obedience training can be used for more light-hearted work.  Lots of fun is had in these classes with interesting diversions for both handler and dog.

Children are also encouraged to come and learn about their dog.
